The Dover is a premium New Zealand made garden shed designed to provide a stable, natural, or paintable timber storage solution for any backyard. Manufactured since 1987, this storage shed range combines a distinguished appearance with a durable design that makes a high-quality statement on your property.
Superior Classic Knotty Cedar Construction: This shed is cladded in unique, “knotty grade” rough-sawn Western Red Cedar planking sourced from sustainable Canadian forestry. These boards are fastened with stainless steel staples to a solid treated timber frame to create a rugged and stylish structure that is built to last.
Modular Panel Design: This storage system features a distinctive modular assembly method using pre-made panels for quick and easy installation.
Weatherproof Interior: Every panel is fully lined with heavy duty building paper to create an ultra dry interior that keeps gear moisture free.
Customisable Roofing: Owners can choose between a rustic traditional finish with Cedar shingles or a contemporary look with a pre-painted steel roof. (Shingle roofs are not available on some models.)
Premium Ranch Slider Access: Both the Urban and Dover models come standard with an 1800mm wide ranch slider. This feature is fully compliant with the updated glazing standard NZS4223.3:2016 and provides easy access with plenty of natural light.
Robust Plywood Floor Kit: A kit featuring 17mm H3 plywood on sturdy 70 x 45mm treated H4 joists.
Fixed or Opening Aluminium Windows: Residential grade joinery available in four colors (Ironsand, Karaka, Grey Friars, or Ebony) to match steel roof options.
Plywood Shelf Units: Brackets and plywood shelving available in 300mm widths and lengths of 1200mm, 1800mm, and 2400mm.
Plywood Workbench: A sturdy work surface featuring timber framing.
Verandah and Deck Kit: Enhance the appeal and practicality of your studio with a kit that protects you from the elements.
Endurance Cedar Protectant: Specialized wall and shingle protector designed to enhance and preserve the timber’s natural look.
Bolt Down Kit: Includes unique galvanised hold-down brackets, dynabolts, and screws for securing the shed to a concrete base.
Peg Down Kit: Includes H5 treated timber pegs and stainless steel screws for anchoring in sand or dirt substrates.
